We started the Great Wok Experiment in 2017, as, you guessed it, an experiment, to apply the ancient art of stir frying to premium ingredients, to produce healthy and delicious gourmet style food in just a few minutes.

Our food is not linked to any geographic area or ethnic group (and we don’t even know what chicken chow mein is), and we’ll often use ingredients not traditionally associated with stir frying. (For the ultimate fusion dish try our stir fried halloumi cheese.) What you will always get from the Great Wok Experiment, however, is delicious, healthy food with a distinctive taste in each dish.

Like our name says we’re constantly innovating so you’ll often see new dishes appearing and old dishes being retired.  What won’t change is the delicious taste of all our dishes.
